We got up later on Saturday to head on to Asheville. We left Stauton behind and South around 11:00am. Around lunch time we decided to pull over and seek out a new local restaurant. I looked through my book and found a wonderful place called Hollywood’s restaurant and Bakery.
A bit blurry, but I have a better one to follow.
It was wonderful. The owner came over several times to check and see if our needs were being met. We had a wonderful lunch and made sure we saved room for dessert. They had something on the menu called “Better Than Sex Chocolate Cake”. We had to try it.
It was marvelous!!! It had chunks of chocolate inside. It’s a real close up which is better. I love me some chocolate, but I also love me some Buddy.
I don’t remember the name of this Ginger ale, however, it is made in Patterson, NJ and it was the best I ever had. I’ll have to Google it and find out.
We arrived home in the early evening. It was good to be home, however, I miss my family.
