Flowers and Lunch

Here are some of the pictures I promised.   I haven’t finished planting all my flowers.  I have several planters that need to be filled.

I love my little angel.

Today Allison and I went to Black Mountain for lunch.  We went to a new place called The Blackbird.  Wow! Was it delicious.

Pretty window boxes out side of The Blackbird.Close up of the window boxes.

The specials for the day.

I had the tempura oysters.  Yummy!

The restaurant is located in a new development called Chestire(I think).  It is a planned development.  We took a drive through the development and what a surprise!  It was beautiful.  None of the house were alike.  Each was unique in it’s own way.  The developers left all the trees so it look like the home had been there for awhile.Look how narrow this home is.

Wonderful upstairs porch.

Lots of trees and porches.

Another narrow home.  This looks like a tree house.

The stone work on the homes are really beautiful.

I feel in love with this arrangement of flowers on this door.  I wish the picture came out better but I think you can get the idea of just how big this was and the amount of space it took on the door.

Another door, however, not as pretty as the one above.

Until next time

Blessings

  • Hey Momma! You’re blogging!! I am so impressed. Chucklebutt said you have had quite a few hits on your site — even more than his photography site. Tee hee. Your flowers look gorgeous. Mine are still hanging in there. I LOVE that development. The homes are beautiful and you’re right — that flower arrangement is awesome. Love all the pictures. Keep up the good work.
